PK88 PK88 88 note version £675
PK88 76 note version £695
The PK88 was designed especially for the requirements of the "mobile pianist" who needs a high class and easy to carry keyboard but does not need extended MIDI features. The PK88 uses a high quality keyboard with patented real hammer mechanics. The hammer mechanics used in the PK88 does not compare to low cost hammer mechanics offered by other instruments (not only a simple metal lever beyond each key). The case used is a rugged and easy to carry black flightcase with handle and removable lid that shows its advantage especially during live events. The PK88 only weighs around 20Kg
The MIDI features are limited to what the user of such a keyboard really needs: The PK88 transmits MIDI note events with velocity on MIDI channel 1. The velocity resolution is 127 steps. We set a high value on the conversion of the mechanical impact to the MIDI velocity so that it is as close as possible to the behaviour of a real piano - within the limited possibilities of MIDI. At the rear panel a double foot switch can be connected to obtain the piano features sustain (MIDI controller #64) and soft pedal (MIDI controller #67). e.g. the VFP2 can be used. At the rear panel you will find also the 2 MIDI outputs (parallel) and the power supply connector

The case used is a rugged and easy to carry black flightcase with handle and removable lid that shows its advantage especially during live events. The LMK2+ only weights around 24Kg

MKE
MKE Electronics v2 The MKE is a Universal Midi Keyboard Electronics to build a custom Midi keyboard controller. Combining the MKE with the Pocket Electronics, Dial Electronics, CTM64 or MTC64 allows the construction of a unique Midi controller.
Keyboards (manufactured by FATAR/Italy with 2, 3, 4 or 5 octaves) type TP/7, TP/8 or TP/9, with velocity can be supplied to use with the MKE.
Pitch bend wheel (special spring-loaded rotary potentiometer) andModulation wheel (special rotary potentiometer) are also available.
Rotary or fader potentiometer for loudness/volume control (Midi CC#7)
After touch sensor or socket for sustain switch or another potentiometer for any Midi controller
The MKE pc board has these controls available: 6 momentary buttons (with LED's) and a 3-digit LED display. The 6 buttons are used to control these parameters: Midi channel 1...16 Transpose (lowest note in octave intervals, 0-12-24-36-48-60) Program change 0...127 Controller number 0...127. After touch Up (increment of the value shown in the display) Down (decrement of the value shown in the display)
The MKE has a non-volatile memory for the parameters Midi channel, transpose, program and controller number. After the next power on the previous values are called up.
The MKE is equipped with Midi In and Midi Out. The data appearing at the Midi in is merged with the data generated by the MKE. Consequently several MKE's can be daisy-chained or combined with other OEM controllers (e.g. Pocket Electronics, Dial Electronics, CTM64 , MTC64) to build a custom-made Midi controller.
The MKE is available only as an assembled and tested pc board. The pc board measures 68mm (length) x 85mm (width) x 35mm (height). Four mounting holes with 3 mm diameter are available for mounting the pc board to a suitable base or front panel e.g. with distance sleeves or spacers and screws. An external power supply (7-12VDC@min. 250mA) is required (not supplied - £7 option if needed)
